SARASOTA, Fla.—Robert Fisher of Roaring Toyz is pleased to announce a joint promotion with AEM Performance Electronics that brings a never-before-seen exhibit to this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. 
 
Fisher has been working with Kirk Miller from AEM, using their Engine Management Systems (EMS) with great success on his custom sportbike builds. When Miller saw the one-of-a-kind traveling display Fisher has constructed to showcase his work, he knew it had to be at SEMA. Thanks to Fisher’s relationship with AEM, he will be rolling into the show with a visually stunning forty-foot clear trailer and modified hauler loaded with twelve dramatically customized sportbikes. 
 
Robert Fisher is known throughout the motorcycle industry for his aesthetically appealing, fully functional lineup of aftermarket parts for sportbikes and performance cruisers; his clear rig is a rolling tribute to his outstanding talent as both a sportbike customizer and hard parts designer.  
 

Fisher has no doubt his clear rig will have an impact at the SEMA show: “There is nothing like it on the road,” Fisher notes. “It doesn’t matter what event I attend, even pulling in for gas, people go crazy for it—it’s a rolling candy store of custom sportbikes.” 
 
More importantly, Fisher believes his rig will open the eyes of the automotive industry to the passion and purchasing power of motorcycle consumers. “These are customer-owned bikes, and this is just a small selection of the bikes I have outfitted over the past year. Motorcyclists aren’t deterred by the state of the economy. In fact, we are finding they ride more because it’s still very affordable fun. They can personalize their bike, gas up and go for a fraction of the cost of a car,” Fisher points out. 
 
For Fisher, SEMA presents an opportunity to develop more successful joint partnerships with companies whose products cross over to the motorcycle market. “These enthusiasts buy a lot of the same products car guys buy. Performance products—from bolt-on to full race—cleaning products, navigation, covers, Bluetooth: the motorcycle consumer presents huge crossover opportunities for many SEMA members.”  
 
Then there are the hardcore sportbike performance enthusiasts: “They will sell their furniture to afford go fast parts if they need to!” Fisher jokes. 
 
It may be funny, but it’s a philosophy Kirk Miller from AEM Performance Electronics understands. “Since we began manufacturing our fuel management systems for sportbikes, we’ve come to realize this is a consumer whose passion drives his pocketbook. Working with Robert has been a natural fit: Robert’s bikes get major media attention, and our performance-based products compliment his aesthetically driven custom hard parts perfectly.” 
 
Robert Fisher will also have a Kawasaki ZX-14 Pro Street 600hp streetbike in the AEM booth (#23243). “I have been using the AEM product on many of my builds and it’s definitely a well engineered system,” says Fisher. “AEM’s attention to detail and engineering know-how has produced a product that makes our bikes fly and run at optimum performance.”
