CEO, Dan Dorsch of Lakeland, FL Fun Bike Center killed in Plane Crash

The motorcycle community is devastated to learn that a weekend trip to New York turns fatal for Dan, his wife, and others.  A man that truly brought “Fun” to motorcycling now has a community mourning his loss.

He had a vision of bringing more jobs to Polk County, a plan to build a mega power sport and entertainment complex and a dream of making it a family operation.  All of this came true for Dan Dorsch.  Now it’s all in the hands of those he empowered and taught so well.

We had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Dan and his talented staff last year for Born To Ride Magazine. It was one of the best interviews we had! Lots of fun and lots of laughter that day! The interview truly impacted our outlook on how to run a business productively and with positive outlooks on all aspects. To this day, we still quote “Dan-isms” to one another! We will truly miss this remarkable man. Our condolences to his family, friends, and strong customer base.

Met Dan once at a bike night, Fun Bike Center. I could sense a truly charismatic and personable character. The industry will miss him and his business leadership. My condolences to his extended family.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THE BAD NEWS THAT MR DAN DORSCH WAS KILLED IN A PLANE CRASH!! I WAS OUT OF TOWN AND DIDNT KNOW UNTIL JUST RECENTLY. DAN WAS SUCH A WELL LIKED INDIVIDUAL AND ONE OF THE BEST BUSINESS MAN I EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING HIM FOR YEARS. HE WAS A DOER AND A FUN GUY TO BE AROUND. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY FOR THIS GREAT LOST. I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET HIS WIFE, BUT I AM SURE SHE WAS A FINE LADY AND A FINE WIFE TO DAN. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS EMPLOYEES, BECAUSE I CERTAINLY KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED. THE LORD AS TAKEN THEM BOTH HOME AND I AM SURE THEY WILL SEE THE STREETS OF GOLD. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY HE LEFT AND ALL HIS EMPLOYEES!!

Pretty awesome. Would appreciate it if you add forums or something, it would be a perfect way for your clients to interact. Great job
